My fellow Yankee fans,
Though I have not spoken to some of you in awhile, I can only imagine that you’re as upset about the way Joe Torre was treated as the rest of us. What’s even more disturbing to me is that this idiot, Randy “The Hair” Levine, is apparently now running the show.
Obviously, there is nothing we as fans can do except let our voices be heard. It’s not going to change anything, but at least we can have our say. Several of us have come up with an idea that we think will get our point across as much as the brain trust is listening, and will allow us to have a little fun while we annoy the crap out of “The Hair.”
Next week, I am going to draft an e-mail to Randy Levine advising him that we would like to be informed when his performance-based model contract with the New York Yankees is taking effect. Anyone who wants to participate will be copied on the mail. Then, each day, someone on the mail thread will hit “Reply To All” and send a follow-up e-mail telling him that we’re still waiting to hear back from him about his performance-based model contract and when it will be going into effect.
As I said, it’s not going to change anything, but at least it’ll give us a chance to let our voices be heard, and to annoy the crap out of “The Hair” at the same time.
